Licensed: Privacy policy

Does the app share any of my data?

The app is designed to let you privately store your software license information on your Mac. It never shares it with the developer or any third party, and in fact never transfers data off your device.

What data does the app store and where?

The license information you enter is stored within the Library folder in your home folder on your Mac. This folder is usually hidden, but you can find the relevant file by opening Licensed and choosing File > Reveal Data File in Finder.

To try and save you time when adding licenses, the app prefills your email address if possible. It does this by storing the last used email address in the app’s preferences, which are also in your Library folder on your Mac.
